Best time to visit Nepal
The best time to visit Nepal is September to November. Though for the mountain expeditions in higher Himalayas, March to May i.e. spring is the peak season.
- Autumn (September to November) : As the season of mellow fruitfulness covers the green valleys with gold and red shades, the sky looks stunning with blue hues, the snow-capped higher Himalayan mountains offers magnificent views, the record number of tourists visit Nepal from around the globe in this season. The famous Annapurna Circuit Trek occurs mainly in this season.
- Spring (March to May) : Along with blooming flora and a picturesque view of massive mountain peaks; Nepal in spring offers a plethora of activities and festivals that lighten up your entire trip. Buddha Jayanti is one such festival. This is a celebration of Lord Gautam Buddha’s birthday. Apart from these attractions, spring in Nepal is mostly important for most famous Mountain Expeditions, such as Mt. Everest, Mt. Khanchendzunga, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Annapurna and so on.
